Tour The Spectacular Kitale Kenya Forest
Kitale is a small town in Kenya located in the north
rift, about 389km west of the capital Nairobi. Tucked beneath this obscurity is
a town lying between the Cherangani hills and Mount Elgon. A rich, struggling agricultural
hub dubbed as the granary of Kenya. Just few meters from the city lays the indigenous
Kitale Agro forest that spurns miles of acreage laced with jungle green savanna
vegetation cover. Full of nature it has the water catchment zone and spring
dam. The outlet river has numerous waterfalls which produces a unique gushing sound.
During mid day, the sun shown rancorously in this equatorial zone, with temperatures
hitting high of thirty one but never lower than thirteen, which would splitter
the clouds above and leaving a clear sky blue horizon as if manifesting full
wrath of God.
In the evening clouds
darken releasing a narrow layer rolling across the sky. In a split of a second,
childhood memories would enliven metaphysics, piercing darkness with the good
old day’s feelings in the mind soon turning to be the physical darkness in the
area. The sun disappears fast down the tall volcanoes in the Mount Elgon’s Wagaigai
peak in the west like a chicken drawing Chicks to her wings and the city that
was once booming with life and bustle would retract to a quiet and serene nature.
Birds and crickets filled the air rehearsing
vigorously, choruses in game explosion like a heckling competition, welcoming visitors
to the village life.
